Now Zelensky is listed as 'wanted' by Russia

International Desk:  Russia has listed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a 'wanted' criminal. This information was known from the government database on Saturday. Zelensky was found on the wanted list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It is an online database of criminals wanted by the authorities.

The list states that he is wanted for a criminal offence. But nothing more was mentioned. Russia did not immediately say why Zelensky was on the wanted list.  

Moscow has been targeting Zelensky since the military operation began in February 2022. The Ukrainian president said last year that at least five or six assassination attempts had failed.  

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the nation the day after sending troops into Ukraine. In it, he called on the Ukrainian military to oust Zelensky. Russia has foreign politicians and leading people from various countries on its wanted list.
